Bruce. I just need to make you aware I don’t know what to say. The sound is very corrupt and I’m concerned about the quality of the intel because people, you can’t. You can’t hear you. Except for every few words. Bob was sounding like a melodephone for a while. Yeah, a little bit. How do I sound now, Sue? Over. How do I sound? I would put it at half Mimotophone, half Mimoto. It’s like it’s. Yeah, Judy, not great. Just gonna speak slowly and see if people can hear what I’m saying. Even if it comes out like a melodophone, which does have. I think that’s a good idea. Yeah, that’s. That works. That if you speak really slowly, it’s clear. Okay, good.
Okay, that’s what I’ll do. All right. Thank you, Sue. Yeah. All right, guys, this was an interesting day today. I was getting indicators that I would be given the toll free number today. And I did not get it yet. I know that they’re in final processes of getting everything ready to go out for advances. And this is the process. AED advances, bond owners, currency holders, and advances would go out first. For example, who’s part of the advances? Tnks, fines and penalties, adjudicated settlements, farm claims, stuff like that. That comes into the advances group.
Then the next group is bondholders. Bondholders thought they would be getting access to their funds, which is in their account already. They thought they’d get access by today. I don’t think that was the case. And then the next letter, C is currency holders. That’s us. And what we need to get started is the toll free number to book our appointment. Our time slot at the redemption center that’s closest to us based on zip code. So that’s abc. So far, the advances are almost ready to go out. And we are going out almost in a shotgun start with them as currency holders. I’ve heard it could be any day now. Today was not the day, but tomorrow and Thursday, Wednesday, Thursday are looking very, very good. But I don’t have it officially Absolute.
So you have to just go with me. Like I’m doing it right now. One day at a time. This is a one day at a time process right now until we get the toll free numbers. Now let me talk about redemption centers because I was curious as far as Canada, the U. S. and Mexico, the latest number that we had for redemption Centers was about 25,000 in the US and Canada and Mexico. Now is the 800 number effective for Canada? We talked to our Canadian bank, one of whom has said yes, Canada will have 800 numbers and the other is saying no. For Canada, I think there will be 800 numbers. The reason I say that is because we have a contact that is over seven redemption centers in Canada. So we know that they have the redemption centers and why wouldn’t they use the 800 number to get appointments set there? And that’s just in one province. So as you go all the way through the various provinces, all the way over to Prince Edward island or Nova Scotia, yeah, I think you’re going to have redemption centers. Now they’re not going to be anywhere near as many as we have in the United States. However, I think that Canada will have that option. And even if Canada has the 800 number that we have meaning in the United States by we, they should be able to find out and access it. The only problem is this. As you guys know, Canada uses letters and numbers for their postal code. They don’t even call it a zip code up there, they call it a postal code. Well, I don’t know how that’s going to work on our dial pad where we key in our zip code. So I’m going to say Canada do this.
You know that Scotiabank has merged with Royal bank of Canada and more or less, I think taking them in under their Scotiabank name might still be RBCs though, but Scotia is kind of the lead bank of those two. And then of course you have HSBC in some of the major cities in Canada. That’s another bank that is more or less in charge of a lot of international areas of the world, not just Canada. Now we have the largest number of redemption centers in the United States. And of course the toll free number will work. The four call centers, you’ll be able to set up your appointment very easily using the 800 dump. I think that and HSBC and HSBC would be your two main banks to use. But I’m sure some of the larger national banks in the various Latin American countries would be able to do your exchange. Mexico is a question mark on Redemption centers? I don’t think so. I don’t think we’ve got redemption centers. But if you have an hsbc, a Banco Santander, you would call them to set up your appointment and do an exchange that way.
Let’s see what else. Let’s talk about the rest of the world. HSBC is a global bank, Chinese bank, and they are in charge of, of exchanges in other countries. Otherwise, take the tier one banks, meaning the larger, most prominent banks in the country that you’re in and either do this, either go to the bank that you bought your currency from. If you did buy through a bank, go back, call that bank and go back to it to set up your appointment with that same bank that you bought it through. Now if you bought it from ebay and you didn’t get it from a bank, you’re just going to have to call one of the larger national banks in your country and tell them that you’d like to do a foreign currency exchange. They might ask you what currencies you have and you let them know that’s how it’s going to work for those that are outside the United States and Canada. So I wanted to get that out and say that I told you a little bit ago when we talked about Germany, obviously I don’t know all the banks in Germany. I know Deutsche bank of course is huge and I don’t know any other banks that come to mind, but just bank in your city, in your town and call them and ask them if they’re doing currency exchange, foreign currencies, and then they might ask you what you have and you tell them what you’ve got. All right, so that’s your way of getting that done. That’s it on that. Now where do we stand? I told you guys I was faked out today. I thought I was going to actually get a toll free number sent to me today with a packet of instructions, with an NDA, etc. Etc. Didn’t happen. But I know they’re in the process of wrapping this up. In fact, I heard last night that everything was done and certain people that I was in contact with were having a celebration dinner but for some reason it did not get launched. L A U N C H launched yet. So we’re looking to see if the launch has begun and then we’ll celebrate hopefully on Thursday. Thursday’s big call.
So beyond that, guys, I think that’s the most prescient information I could bring to you tonight because that’s what I’ve been involved with so much today, there’s not a whole lot else. I will say that 14 currencies have shown up at the Redemption Centers yesterday. And I know that, yeah, the contract rate on dinar is higher than it was before, still not quite as high as I was hoping would be yet. But you know, it might get up there, it might climb up even higher, but it’s a terrific rate anyway. And it’s not all about rates anyway, but. But let’s do this. If you’re a Zim holder, you have automatic priority to get in the med beds. And if you’re a Zim holder with dire need like can’t see, can’t walk, whatever else, can’t breathe, whatever it is you’re having trouble with, it’s a dire need.
