They are in a liquidity crunch. …the CBI’s own list of the five (5) main issues that need to be resolved prior to the reinstatement…Ending the parallel market or at least equalizing it must be accomplished…was on the list. 1520…was chosen because it is about the optimum/average trending rate of the parallel market in Iraq. So this is now the new CBI ‘official’ rate.
