Interviews they’re doing right now in Iraq reveal a mixed public reaction to the deletion of the zeros from the dinar with many citizens skeptical about whether it will lead to a real effective exchange rate or improve our daily lives. FRANK: This is a 20 year wait. That is equivalent to a generation. This new generation in Iraq is fearful of the unknown but this education is what will allow them to realize, ‘Oh my goodness, I have just been given purchasing power that is worth at least an American dollar.’ …everything will work itself out with the citizens.
10-30-2025 Boots-On-The-Ground Guru Maxis No new lower notes have been released but I did buy a new 50,000 dinar note today. I am in Baghdad and have access to the banks. QUESTION: “What do your guys in Baghdad think is going on with all the lower notes being shown on TV? Are they expecting something?” My locals say the smaller notes will not be introduced until there is a change in the value of their currency because the smaller notes would be worthless…They all get this information from the banks.

They not going to make 45 million Iraqis rich over night. That’s not true…This is the good thing about changing the rate inside Iraq. It’s not about making money like United States…We don’t think profit. We think, traveling… buying things will be a lot cheaper for us. Living [cost] will go down…If I save 5,000 dinars and I come to America I have $15,000 to spend in two weeks just for vacation…It’s not about making us rich because our dinars is already rich. So if I take [dinar] and go outside two times a year on vacation, I’m rich already. That’s what people dream of it.
10-30-2025 Intel/Newshound Guru MarkZ [via PDK] An interesting article dropped in Iraq. “Al Karwi: Parliament continues after November 11 and upcoming sessions to resolve important laws” they are letting us know that even with the elections, the parliament will continue to meet and pass laws. One of the laws they are concerned about and trying to get done is the HCL (Hydro Carbon Law)…I am still hearing the vote will be before November. Its great to know they are still meeting to grind out these laws.

Television news showing clips about the new lower notes, especially on the local Iraqi broadcasts. These are the real notes. They’ve been giving people a heads up on the design and new security features so that everyone knows what’s coming before the notes are fully out there. FRANK: This is what we expected right about now as the month is coming to an end… Congratulations… you have finally landed on the shores of a new exchange rate with purchasing power for your currency…Every day is another piece of the puzzle. IMO sometime between now and the 11th of next month the CBI should show us the new exchange rate.
10-30-2025 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat …last week the CBI announced plans to remove zeros from dinar, as part of efforts to strengthen the national currency…two weeks ago, we also had articles on this subject matter…So, last week again the CBI confirmed to the citizens the project is underway and we will see more information about it soon. These types of recent articles are no longer just updates on the project to remove the zeros but informational and educational for the start of the process…that is what my CBI [contact] told me on my call to Iraq last Wednesday… So, we can expect more of these articles ongoing from now on educating us on this process that is underway…finally….
