In a written statement released on Sunday, Maliki condemned the recent chemical attack by the Islamic State (IS) on Taza Khurmatu sub-district of Northern Iraq, saying such atrocities recall the brutality of Saddam Hussein’s Ba’ath regime. He urged the Iraqi government to take every possible measure to stop these sort of violence.
The Shi’ite politician, who is known for his hostile position against Kurds, this time demanded the Peshmerga forces to assist the Shi’ite militia Hashd al-Shaabi to maintain the security and liberate Basheer village……… THIS IS STATEMENT 4 HOURS AGO…….. DOES IT APPEAR MALIKI IS GONE……???????

I wish at this point i never heard about the dinar cause all does is make people dream of fix for what ever wrong in their life money wise . if this does happen all lost was 40 % exchange rate and move on .
my dinar is paid for so i really do not need ,but after losing a $150 k plus job this month with kids in collage and med school does not leave much left . so like you all i am hoping ,but i work plan A getting new job even if it 60 to 70 K per .

wmawhite says to saturday night():You are welcomed………all I try to do is to point out that the IMF knows more about Iraq than the Iraqis, more than Frank, than any of the gurus and the Entertainement Tonight newspapers at the check out lane of this investment.
But, what do we want to do? Read the newspapers at the check out lane. it is not a matter of if the IMF is going to make us rich in the near future. Instead, they told the world that they have a reason to expect Iraq to make a majo move with it monetary system during the 1st half of 2016. But, too many people don’t want the information to use for themselfs, instead, they just want a date and rate.

Iraq is not a wonderland of complete bliss……. it is being nurtured to become a democracy with a market economy…… As of right now the IMF statement hasn’t created a run on the IQD from Forex traders…….of course they may not be as sharp and savy as we are…….and Soros is busy with US election disruptions.
Baxter1243 says():Tman…. a lot of what you are stating is true… however.. I question the Reality rate of 1182.. there are a lot of calculations to come up with a rate that the IMF or BIS will accept.. with all of Iraqs wealth.. I would think the Dinar is worth more than a tenth of a penny…

Only and only if Iraq wants to change the rate and show the world what they have in store.. we will see the change of rate. IMF can always advise Iraq what to do but I believe the decision is still in iraq’s hands
