designbyg says():blocking with all their might….you bet…..Abadi has the backing he needs to keep the bad guys running. Eventually, they will get a grip on it but in the meantime, the reforms will help in the final resolve towards a fruitful life for the people…
jtank says():U ould think they would have mass protests from the all the problems
designbyg says():they are from what i’m hearing…they are so used to those tho, i really wonder how much impact they really have on anything.

David Boucher[1446350521@twitter..] says():GM morning Bloomberg article on Mark Mobius who runs Temppleton global emerging markets fund guy is good says he has never been as bullish on small country markets. Couldn’t  copy and paste link though sorry
David Boucher[1446350521@twitter..] says():http://www.bloomberg.com the article is down a bit

David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():The title is Mobius sees emerging markets a turning point after rout.
plowboy says():I asked MD this last night but I don’t think I expressed the question well. I’ll try again here. Regarding the plan to freeze oil production to bring prices up, what will happen when they resume pumping a lot of oil, which you know they will? Won’t oil prices go back down?
cookie says to plowboy():YES….AND ARE DRIV EN BY DEMAND AND INVENTORY LEVELS…WHICH HAVE BEEN AT GLUT LEVELS…SLOWING DEMAND..GLUT INVENTORY…CONTINUED PRODUCTION INCREASE EQUALS LOW PRICING
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():Rig count is the US is at a 45 year low. And Obama just banned offshore drilling in the Atlantic. I would bet all my money oil is going to $70 if I had any money. All these US E&P companies have so much debt they are hitting the wall
jtank says():they will regulate they output to keep prices up- but amost all countries producing should be on boardd
rcookie says to larrykn():THE SHORT TERM PRICE SPIKE THAT HAVE BEEN SEEN..CORRELATED TO TALKS OF PRODUCTION FREEZES…OIL DROPPED FROM AROUND $41..AND REPORTS TOADAY BACK AT $38
rcookie says to larrykn():TODAY*
larrykn says to rcookie():once they freeze production that should raise right
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():US oil company debt is massive. Stripper wells break even at $55 and the junk bonds of these oil companies are stating to default.
plowboy says to rcookie():I’ve been trying to get a handle on how the resumption of oil production after the freeze is over will affect their economic situation. mudder said well, the economic reforms will hopefully be done by then
larrykn says to plowboy():I’m agreeing with that, I’m not sure how long it will take for them to do it, overnight or weeks, but the revalue could take place at anytime now IMO
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():The US is already borderline on oil exports will turn negative soon and that is enought to push prices up. These guys raised 300 billion plus in junk debt when oil was twice current levels. I love oil .
rcookie says():THE DRIVER IS WORLD/GLOBAL GROWTH….THE IMF..WB AND ANY MAJOR FORCASTER STATING AD WARNING DAILY ABOIUT SLUGIS GROWTH..
WHICH DIRECTLY CORRELATES TO DEMAND.,..
EVERY ONE OF THESE COUNTRIES WANTS TO PUMP AND OVER PUMP TO BRIDGE/CORRECT THEIR PRICING SHORTFALLS….JUST LIKE IRAQ DID LAST YEAR…
larrykn says to rcookie():seems they are learning a hard lesson on why not to do that but to control the flow of oil to keep the price up
plowboy says to mudder():if oil supply/price doesn’t affect what we’re waiting for, what’s the discussion for?
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():Have a good day all but I just want to say there could not be a better time for IRAQ to go “public ”
subgirl says to David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..]():have a good day too 🙂
David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..] says():I hope they don’t miss the window
larrykn says to David[X25SNDAUGTUKHUQWI6BTABCMVI@yahoo..]():have a good day an ty for that info 🙂
rcookie says to larrykn():THEY HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN BUT CONTINUE TO OPERATE IN A MANNER THAT IS COUNTER INTUITIVE TO THEIR OWN BEST INTEREST..
AS WELL AS IGNORING THE NEED TO DIVERSIFY THEIR ECONOMIES INTO NON OIL RELIANT REVENUE STREAMS
WHICH AGAIN THE IMF/WB/UN AND EVERYONE HAS WARNED THE ENTIRE REGION ABOUT….
plowboy says to mudder():chill, I’m just trying to get some understanding
rcookie says to larrykn():HAMOUDI ANNOUNCING THIS WEEK THE NAMES OF MPS NOW BANNED FROM PARLIAMENT BECAUSE OF EXCESIVE ABSENTEISM….
larrykn says to rcookie():it amazes me how Iraq has all this wealth and as no idea how to control it, needing the IMF WB , to show them the way

tman23 says():A Kurdish delegation will soon visit the Iraqi capital to bring the case of Kurdish independence under spotlight in Baghdad, and discuss the issue on the negotiating table with the Iraqi officials.
A source revealed to BasNews that the time of the referendum will be set after concluding the negotiations with the central government. “Also, Kurdistan Region will consult with the neighbouring countries [Iran and Turkey] if people voted for independence,” the source stated.
Kurdistan Region President has recently urged the Kurdish political parties to work on holding a Kurdish independence referendum as it is the time to allow the Kurds determining their future.
The source explained that such negotiations between Erbil and Baghdad are essential as they have many things in common, including the currency, economy and more importantly the oil fields in Kirkuk.
designbyg says():i hope the kurds dont get their way….
larrykn says to designbyg():I just think at this point in time it just wouldn’t work for them, the thing is they both need each other to get thur this economic condition they are in
larrykn says():to me the thing the Kurds are doing is putting pressure on Baghdad to get what they want an to see what more they can get out of it
tman23 says():WASHINGTON — Israeli Defence Minister said on Monday, March 14 at Wilson Centre that they support the Kurdish independence. Moshe Ya’alon, the Israeli Defence Minister, said in a discussion panel on Middle-East at Wilson Centre in Washington that they will support the Kurdish independence for the best of the region. Tex1 says to clay():What will it do to the Dinar if Kurdstan goes independant
clay says to Tex1():I think the dinar will become obsolete
clay says to Tex1():and kurds will print their own currency pray it doesnt go there
larrykn says to Tex1():the dinar will still be used in both countries is what I read
Tex1 says to clay():It would change the calculations for sure, but how will the IMF look at it….

clay says to larrykn():sure hope so
Tex1 says to larrykn():The article Tman brought says they will both use the IQD
larrykn says to Tex1():right
Tex1 says to larrykn():Does this change all the laws that they have been working on????
larrykn says():not sure about that, the laws that pertain to both countries would be the same but just like us with states each state would have their laws for that state
