firefly The CBI and the GOI are 2 separate entities…Every Central bank is its own entity.
According to Iraq’s constitution the Governor of the CBI has to be voted in. He/She can’t simply be appointed the position…as Maliki was doing for 4 years.
I don’t believe all the positions are needed to fix for the reform. Remember, the only conditions the IMF gave them on Dec 22, 2015 was to get the AML and Investment Laws completed and activated.
