It has been noted that the CBI will likely redenominate before the RV, dropping the 3 zeros.
So, when the new 25 dinar note is revalued at say, $3 USD, it will be worth $75 USD.
This scenario makes sense as I don’t see how Iraq can RV BEFORE a redenomination. If they do RV at just $1 USD, then their 38 trillion outstanding dinar would be equal to 38 trillion USD.
Not only would this be greater than the total USD in circulation, but this 38 trillion USD (value) would also be more than the combined USD equivalent of the British Pound AND the USD. How is the Iraqi dinar supposed to suddenly be worth 38 trillion USD than overnight?

Also yesterday across the Iraqi prime minister expressed the hope that Parliament will vote «in the coming days» the technocratic government is not partisan. He said that the political turmoil has been the armed forces crackdown on the organization of the Islamic state at risk. The organization is still in control of large parts of northern and western Iraq, including the city of Mosul.
Said in a statement on his website: «I look forward to being able to the House of Representatives that the legislative and supervisory role to the fullest and to vote on cabinet reshuffle in the coming days and as soon as possible».
He added: «Accordingly, I call on the Council of Representatives to convene immediately to overcome the obstacles and to contribute in the development of solutions to the challenges facing the country», in reference to the disagreement between the members of Parliament on the legitimacy of the parliament speaker, al-Jubouri.
It rejects a large bloc in parliament, meeting under the chairmanship of al-Jubouri and blames him not to hold a hearing on accountability Abadi for the proposed composition of the government. Jubouri and cast blame on the Prime Minister in his absence from a meeting called for by last Thursday.
