Saturday 3 September 2016 13:19 announced Director of Tourism in Sulaymaniyah Yassin tread Said province, Saturday, rising numbers of tourists coming to the province during the first seven months of this year increased by 500% compared with the first of last year , seven months.
Saeed said in an interview with Alsumaria’s News, he was ” in the first seven months of this year it recorded visit 154 thousand and 957 tourists to the province of Sulaymaniyah , “noting that” the province received 32 thousand and 901 tourists during the first seven months of last year. ”
He Said, ” The number of tourists increased by 500% compared to last year , ” pointing out that ” the Directorate is preparing to take all measures to receive tourists from various regions of Iraq.”
It is noteworthy that the tourism directorate in Sulaimaniyah province, announced earlier, to take action to facilitate the entry of tourists in order to attract the largest number of them, a sign that they directed to reduce the hotels and tourist facilities rates.

Opened by Minister of Construction and Housing and public municipalities Ann wholesome Osei, on Sunday, the permanent exhibition of the ministry of construction products in the Renaissance district of Baghdad in the presence of agents and general managers and representatives of the relevant authorities.
The minister said in a statement that ‘the exhibition is part of the current government directives to maximize self Ministry resources which will contribute to the permanent as in the promotion of the work of the ministry’s corporate executive and with wings in the exhibition through the sale of these products the public and private sectors as well as citizens’.
He added that ‘the executive and our ministry firms [Assyria, FAW, Hammurabi, Mansour, Mutassim, Saad, Farouk, Rasheed] offers more than 40 items in the exhibition, including concrete, gravel, bricks, doors, windows and all of these materials will be checked laboratory at the National Center for Laboratories construction of the ministry and this what added to the importance of the exhibition that the specifications of the resources offered checked and meet international standards. ”
The ministry has formed a higher ministerial committee for laboratories productivity have undertaken the study and development of all the ministry’s laboratories and prepare for the establishment of the permanent exhibition for construction products.

27. As of December 31, 2015, there were 56 banks operating in Iraq including 7state-owned banks IRAQ (SOB) of which one is an Islamic bank, 32 Iraqi private banks, of which 6 are Islamic banks, and17 foreign branches, of which 5 are Islamic banks.
The SOBs dominate the financial sector and account for the bulk of assets and credits. Three of the SOBs, Rafidain Bank, Rasheed Bank and Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI), account for around 90 percent of the banking system’s assets.

- (iii) provide for multi-year appointment terms for the external auditor;
- (iv) provide for timely publication of audited financial statements;
- (v) establish an audit committee, including its mandate and composition, and representation on the CBI Board;
- (vi) change the CBI Board’s composition to a non-executive majority;
- (vii) strengthen the autonomy of the chief internal auditor; and
- (viii) require market-based rates for lender of last resort operations. The proposed amendments should be developed in consultation with the IMF.
