Baghdad and Washington sign a sovereign loan of US billion-dollar agreement
1.5.2017 11:46 Long-Presse / Baghdad Announced Alomarkih embassy on Thursday the signing of Iraq and the United States of America an agreement to ensure the US sovereign loan worth billion dollars, and promised that “the first step” to allow greater opportunity for Iraq to enter the international capital markets and “commitment” Washington guide his support in the fight against Daesh, as suggested completion the second step of the formal diplomatic exchange of notes within weeks.

IRAQI BANKING FORUM 3RD EDITION
Jan 11-12 2017 Iraq has witnessed in the last few months positive developments at the security and economic levels, where it has regained control over wide areas that have been for long in the hands of terrorist organizations, amid an unprecedented Arab and international support.
At the economic level, an agreement has been reached with the International Monetary Fund regarding an economic support program last May, further showing the International Community’s willingness to help Iraq overcome its budget deficit, as it remains burdened with costs of reconstruction and open war on terror. BAGHDAD / Baghdadi Uz..tros Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, on Wednesday, a meeting of the Ministerial Committee on Energy, which agreed to approval of the Ministry of Electricity Projects with Company (GE) of America.
A statement by the Office of the Abadi received / Baghdadi News / copy of it, “it was during the meeting approving the Ministry of Electricity projects with the company (GE) US concerning the draft of Samawah and Nasiriyah invading and rehabilitation units Mullah Abdullah invasive rehabilitation of Khor Al-Zubair terminal.”

The Ministry of Communications plans to establish a “my bank”

The Communications Minister, said that “the postal sector will shift through 2017 after establishing the general postal and savings company as an independent public company itself to development of postal services and e-commerce services, and establish a postal Bank after obtaining the Central Bank leave and company registration and transfer the savings to postal Bank offices working electronically sophisticated.”
