tman23 says to CanTWaitwoRV():   With the world markets in a death spiral and big money seeking safe havens (where ever that might be today LOL )…….. Iraq in my eyes is far from being that safe haven…
and considered very high risk. What is being shown is more of countires loaning money to Iraq……
So Germany (Merkel) just announced 500 million plus Euros to Iraq…And the citizens of germany are ready to throw her out of office head first……
But the fact being Europe and others want Iraq to stabilize asap……..the immigration from the ME and the migrants through out Europe have become unruly and unwelcomed……..
Seems much wiser to invest and support these people and keep them inside their own borders… But world governments are slow in growth and funds….running out of “grease”…
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   yea…wonder if the ESF budget still flowing or almost emptied?
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   that ESF mystery you brought up last year was/is a zinger
jarhead says():   i love zingers….especially the ones with coconut 😀
tman23 says to CanTWaitwoRV():   The question is…….How much longer can the world economy hold on ?? I received 3 phone calls this morning where 3 different contracts, all different companies were cancelled at the 11th our….(last minute)…… Nothing tied to Iraq……
But big money from fortune 500 companies…… The chatter about it is not good……money is getting pulled back and appears deep cuts are planned……
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   wow
R&R says to CanTWaitwoRV():   HaiderAlAbadi 12m12 min ago — Prime Minister Dr. Haidar Abadi receives, in his residence in Munich, the Egyptian Foreign Minister.
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   I know. It’s all out in the open now obvious
jarhead says():   seems the world is in trouble
tman23 says to CanTWaitwoRV():   Also read where the Supreme Court has ruled to “freeze” (no pun intended lol) Obamas clean energy act…… which is an embarrassment to the Climate Change policy and what was just held in Paris…..
Without getting into detail, the project investment was mentioned at a cost 12.7 trillion dollars (all countries)…… Then with in hours of the ruling…..’
Australia cut 111 climate change scientist from payroll…… The Supreme Court ruling this early in law suits filed is viewed as unprecidented by legal scholars this early in a case…..
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   wow 12.7 trillion? How ironic…I was just about to post this 5 minutes ago and didn’t but now I gotta
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   637 Rate Cuts And $12.3 Trillion In Global QE Later, World Shocked To Find “Quantitative Failure”
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 02/12/2016 – 11:30 2016 is shaping up to be the year that everyone finally comes to terms with the fact that the monetary emperors truly have no clothes.

CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   “$12.3 Trillion In Global QE”….somebody lookin for a backdoor bailout!? (lol)
And then read UN Kubas saying that civil unrest begins with austerity that cuts into citizens lives …….(not his exact words but same point)……. They certainly understand that this unrest is growing global because of a poor world economy…. ‘
Then janet Yellen speaks on the possibility of withdrawing the quarter percent rate hike and doesn’t exclude the possibility of a negative interest rate……. Seems like the edge of the cliff is getting closer……..AND you have to wonder how far are the powers willing to go with this game of chicken……
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   Hey Janet how is that 1/4 point interest rate announcement move working out? Yea, everything is awesome – lets go for another 1/4 point!
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   personally at some point there are unintended consequences even for the ptb imo
CanTWaitwoRV says to tman23():   personally I think

rcookie says():   IRAQ: Public Financial Mgmt Reform
ABSTRACT*
The objective of the Public Finance Management (PFM) Project is to support the Government of Iraq’s (GoI) efforts to develop more effective, accountable, and transparent public financial management.
The project has four components:
1) strengthening budget formulation and implementation;
2) strengthening public sector procurement;
3) strengthening budget execution and implementation; and
4) capacity development and project management.
To achieve component goals, the project finances international and local technical assistance, limited procurement of goods, and significant capacity building measures for relevant public sector staff.
The eventual outcome of the project is that relevant government authorities in Iraq, at all levels, have new systems in place, including the appropriate training framework, to enable them to provide the more effective, efficient, and transparent, management of public resources.
rcookie says(1:38 PM):   The project focuses on a few critical activities deemed achievable in a relatively short timeframe. In each component, the focus is on relatively straightforward ‘process’ interventions, capacity building, and donor coordination.
These design features are based on lessons from the last few years of experience with projects in Iraq as well as the lessons from PFM projects in post-conflict situations.

rcookie says():   • For Iraq, METAC conducted an ESS mission for Iraq in Jordan.
The mission: (i) assessed progress made in implementing the action plan agreed during the IMF’s Statistics Department’s (STA) December 2013 mission;
(ii) reviewed the latest balance of payments data and explored the reasons for the large errors and omissions;
(iii) provided training on key compilations issues, including transactions and positions arising from oil contracts, and international services; and
(iv) provided guidance to the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) in improving the coverage and timeliness of balance of payments and IIP statistics.

rcookie says():   A CIGAR & SNIFTER OF LOUIS XII…

jimplants says():   REASONABLE
Hutch says to Dr dave():   Sistani has a muzzle on him
rcookie says():    Definition: This entry gives the gross domestic product (GDP) or value of all final goods andservices produced within a nation in a given year. A nation’s GDP at purchasing power parity (PPP) exchange rates is the sum value of all goods and services produced in the country valued at prices prevailing in the United States.
This is the measure most economists prefer when looking at per-capita welfare and when comparing living conditions or use of resources across countries.
The measure is difficult to compute, as a US dollar value has to be assigned to all goods and services in the country regardless of whether these goods and services have a direct equivalent in the United States (for example, the value of an ox-cart or non- US military equipment); as a result,
PPP estimates for some countries are based on a small and sometimes different set of goods and services. In addition, many countries do not formally participate in the World Bank’s PPP project that calculates these measures,
Dr dave says():   i thought he has no longer anything to say to the GOI
rcookie says():   so the resulting GDP estimates for these countries may lack precision. For many developing countries, PPP-based GDP measures are multiples of the official exchange rate (OER) measure.
The difference between the OER- and PPP-denominated GDP values for most of the weathly industrialized countries are generally much smaller.
rcookie says():   IRAQ RANKS 51 OF 229 COUNTRIES 249.4 (PPP IN BILLIONS)

rcookie says():   *Definition of GDP – real growth rate: This entry gives GDP growth on an annual basis adjusted for inflation and expressed as a percent.
Dr dave says():   funny with their problems their economy actually went up
rcookie says():   THEY HAVE THE STRONGEST BUDGET DEFICIT RATIO IN THE REGION…IN THE REGION…IN THE REGION…
