Bank stories are like golden goose eggs. Every now and then you’ll find one. It used to be that they told us it was a scam. Not anymore. Now they tell us, ‘we can’t help you right now.’ Or ‘we can’t help you right now, but when the time comes, we’ll help you.’ Every day you call me with bank stories and 90% of them are very disappointing. ‘Frank, they said no.’ Did they say it’s a scam? ‘No.’ And that’s the pattern.
