I want to wish all the men in here who are fathers, a most blessed and Happy Father’s Day! It takes a special man to be a good dad. You must work hard to provide for your families, are gone for long hours, and still need to come home and be present and active for your children. Thank you to all the dads for being the an important role model in your children’s lives!
Today is Juneteenth Day! A holiday celebrated on 19 June to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, slaves were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation. It is a national holiday in the USA!
May we all truly be set free!
