The Iraqi Industries Union announced on Thursday the launch of over 34,000 industrial projects in the past three years, indicating significant progress in Iraqi industry.
Union President Adel Akab told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “There is clear progress in Iraqi industry, and the government is issuing decisions that support industries.” He noted that “there is an industrial coordination council to discuss the finer details, but the industrial challenge remains significant.”
He added, “There are major challenges, but we are working to overcome them,” pointing out that “the number of industrial projects launched in Iraq has exceeded 34,000 in three years.”
