The State Company for Food Products, part of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, has signed a partnership contract to rehabilitate and operate several production lines at the Al-Maamoun Factory, as part of its plan to modernise operations and strengthen its presence in the local market.
Director General Eng. Haider Shwea said the agreement covers key production lines, including sulfonic acid, Deluxe soap, Sumer detergent powder, and detergents and cosmetics.
He emphasised that the initiative aligns with the Ministry’s strategy of partnering with reputable companies to develop and operate state-owned plants, while ensuring the supply of high-quality national products that meet domestic demand.
