The programme provides a strategic framework aligned with Iraq’s Vision 2030, the National Industrial Strategy 2024-2030, and the UN Cooperation Framework 2025-2029. It focuses on industrial diversification, reducing dependence on oil, and supporting inclusive economic growth.

Key priorities include job creation, strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs, achieving food security, and advancing green growth. The programme will mobilise public and private investment and leverage UNIDO expertise to support the development of a resilient, diversified industrial economy.
