Iraq Stock Exchange

  • Economy Bank (BEFI) decided to extend the subscription on 39.1 bn shares for another 60 days starting Feb. 10, due to the incomplete subscription of the full amount during the first 60 days.
  • The ISC has approved the request of United Bank (BUND) to have a four-month extension period to add the new shares from the capital increase through a 16.67% rights issue to IQD350.0 bn starting from Jan. 26, 2026.

Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:

  • Iraqi Carton Manufacturies (IICM) was moved to the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) and resumed trading on Feb. 9.
  • Rajih Islamic Bank for Investment (BRAJ) will resume trading on Feb. 15, 2026 after holding its AGM on Dec. 31, 2025 in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements, the banking sector reform and chose the merger path, and decided to distribute IQD0.0464 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.6% dividend yield. The opening price will be IQD0.950 per share.
  • Middle East Producing & Marketing – Fish (AMEF) will resume trading on Feb. 15 after holding its postponed AGM on Feb. 8, in which they discussed and approved the ending Mar. 31, 2025, annual financial statements.

Stocks that were suspended / will be suspended from trading:

  • ISX will suspend trading of Al-Badia Insurance Company (NBAD) (OTC) starting Feb. 15 due to the AGM that will be held on Feb. 15 to discuss and approve electing five original and five alternative board members. The company will resume trading on Feb. 16.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Hammurabi Commercial Bank (BHAM) (OTC) starting Feb. 25 due to the AGM that will be held on Feb. 25 to discuss and approve increasing the paid-in capital from IQD201.0 bn to IQD267.3 bn through a 32.985% rights issue, and selecting the path for continuing to carry out banking activities according to what is stated within the Banking Reform Document. The company will resume trading on Feb. 26.
