Two Iraqi brokerage firms have been registered as remote foreign brokers on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
The Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) said that Rabee Securities and Al-Karmel Brokerage have received final approvals to register and operate as foreign brokers on the exchange under the Tabadul platform.
Both companies have also completed registration procedures with the Securities and Commodities Authority of the United Arab Emirates, in line with approved legal and regulatory frameworks, enabling them to conduct cross-border brokerage activities.
The Commission said the move supports greater integration among regional financial markets, expands investment opportunities, and enhances the openness of the Iraqi market to Arab and international markets, in line with efforts to develop and improve the efficiency of the securities sector.
