The Ministry of Oil has confirmed that crude oil extraction and production are continuing at approved levels under an emergency plan adopted by the Fuel Crisis Cell.
The ministry said production of refined products and liquefied petroleum gas is sufficient to meet domestic demand, adding that distribution operations are proceeding smoothly across supply outlets.
According to the ministry, current fuel indicators show:
- Petrol production at 32,474 cubic metres per day
- Daily consumption at 29,079 cubic metres
- Available stock for loading at 98,478 cubic metres
- Critical stock threshold set at 200,000 cubic metres
The ministry said these levels provide assurance of stable fuel supply and ongoing market availability.
