The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company affiliated with the ministry, Basem Abdul Karim Nasser, said in a statement, “The company’s technical and engineering staff have completed drilling the seventh well within the contract concluded with the Italian ENI Company to drill 37 oil wells in the Zubair oil right.”

 

He added that “drilling operations are being carried out using the IDC37 drilling rig at a depth of (3547) meters, and the company has allocated two modern devices to implement this project,” pointing to “the development of work mechanisms in the company in accordance with international standards with regard to safety systems, engineering inspection, concepts of quality management and environmental requirements in operating the devices.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Planning, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, said, “The job number is an electronic platform that includes detailed data on all Iraqi state employees,” noting that “the Ministry of Planning began establishing the platform through a cabinet decision issued in 2017, which was not completed during that period, and it was initially completed. year 2021.”

 

He pointed out that “data of more than 3 million and 250 thousand employees have been entered so far,” explaining that “there will be a 1% deduction from the employee’s nominal salary for one time when he obtains the job number, and the deduction will be made again by 1%, in the event that The employee is promoted.

Al-Shibli told the official news agency, “The railways were established since the forties of the last century, and as a result of the passage of time, they were depreciated and are now dilapidated, but the ministry was able during this period to restore a number of railways from Baghdad to Mosul and from Baghdad to Basra and make them ready for work.” .

 

He added: “In Samawah, the company is also currently working there, in addition to the western region, where the railway is working. As for the train that crosses the Euphrates side, it was destroyed by ISIS terrorist gangs, and it was agreed with the governorate to work on rehabilitating the bridge and returning it to work.”

Planning: The Percentage Of Work In The Private Sector Reached 88 Percent

Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs Azhar Hussein Saleh said in a press statement, “The ministry is working, in addition to preparing the draft law, to educate and raise awareness of the importance of the private sector, and constantly strives to amend laws and reduce the differences between the public and private sectors .”

 

She added that the percentage of work in the private sector reached 88 percent, so the country is still among the developing countries, as the developed countries have a percentage of work in this vital sector to 96 percent .

 

Saleh pointed out that the country is currently suffering from an increase in orientation towards public jobs, due to the lack of laws and the lack of real job opportunities in light of the challenges it has faced during the past years .

 

And she indicated, “The government cannot provide job opportunities for everyone according to the current development standards, so it is imperative that the private sector participate, which should be supported by the state, to create a healthy society and increase its positive repercussions in general .”

Parliamentary Committee: Rehabilitating Sinjar Will Cost $10 Billion

The head of the Parliamentary Services Committee, MP Mahma Khalil, said, “The Iraqi government has been reluctant to disregard the Sinjar district, and the local government is violating the rights of the judiciary,” referring to “the theft of funds allocated to the region.”

 

Khalil added, “The frozen funds amounted to 28 billion dinars, of which 13 billion dinars were spent, while 15 billion dinars are still missing.” He pointed out that “Sinjar’s entitlement to the Emergency Food Security Support Law amounts to more than 300 billion dinars, which has not been allocated so far.” Khalil talked about the possibility of “prosecuting the local government and the federal government, if there are any suspicions of corruption in this file.” As for the need for the Sinjar district to be allocated for its complete reconstruction, Khalil replied, “Sinjar needs about 10 billion dollars, to rebuild all its sectors and compensate the affected people.”

 

And the American magazine (Newsweek) had confirmed earlier that the Sinjar district of Nineveh Governorate is still devastated by the war, despite the passage of years since it was liberated from the terrorist organization ISIS, pointing out that his Yazidi children cannot return and suffer from neglect at the internal and external levels. According to the statistics of the General Directorate of Yazidi Affairs, 6,417 Yazidi citizens were martyred or kidnapped during the ISIS war in 2014, while about 120,000 others emigrated outside the country.
