Banks will have machines that will count how much total currency you have. They have different ways they can authenticate it. Some of their machines that do the counting and sorting will also authenticate it to make sure it has the correct security features and it’s not counterfeit currency. Machines at the banks count, sort and authenticate. Receipts are for your tax preparation, not for banks. : Jeff
