If Iraq was sanction free US banks would be exchanging/trading their currency. They don’t because [Iraq] is under US sanctions. So, no they’re not sanction free. You can easily gauge it by whether US banks exchange Iraq’s money or not. The major banks will not exchange Iraq’s currency while they’re under US Treasury OFAC sanctions… Jeff
