Article: “The Iraqi government is studying the deletion of three zeros from the dinar so that every thousand current dinars equals one new dinar” These kind of articles come out every few years. IMO, these articles are to curb speculation. Though it has always been a possibility, the CBI is not making such a statement and it does not reflect the current economic actions of the government or the central bank.
