Based on the provisions of paragraphs (1) and (3) of Article (4) of the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. (56) of the 2004 Act and anti-money laundering No. (93) for the year 2004 was decided as follows: –
1. Allow the Iraqi and foreign adult output and enter the amount not to exceed (200000) Iraqi dinars (two hundred thousand Iraqi dinars) in cash when entering or leaving Iraq.
2. Allow the Iraqi and foreign of output or enter an amount not exceeding 10,000 US dollars (ten thousand US dollars) in cash or the equivalent in other foreign currencies when entering or leaving Iraq.
3. If you receive cash in excess of the amounts referred to in paragraphs (1) and (2) above are taken out or incorporated into and out of Iraq through the banking system through the converted or deposited by operating at border crossing points and the names of persons with banking relationship with commitment money laundering law No. (93) of 2004 and regulations issued at stake.
