Prudence12: Hello, Family, I think it is very interesting that Sunday is not only a national holiday in Iraq, but is also Easter for the many Eastern Orthodox Christians in the Middle East, Russia, Greece, the USA and beyond.
Because the calendar derives from the Jewish calendar, Passover has to coincide with the observance of Good Friday (tomorrow) and then Easter on Sunday, May 1st. Of course, every 4 years the calendars of Orthodoxy and Catholicism merge and Easter is celebrated on the same day. Confusing for all.
So this is a time of observance and rebirth. Two of Iraq’s neighbors, Syria and Lebanon, have large populations that will be celebrating.
I am sure Russia, who has an interest in currency realignment, is noting this and in prayer.
Blessings, Prudence12
