Aggiedad77: When I was in high school basketball….our varsity coach had a renowned “stall” offense that we rarely employed….but when we did it was quite effective….mind you this was before the shot clock….dark ages yes…..but I’m seeing the GOI doing some “stall” tactics that perhaps we aren’t being allowed to see…..
Suspecting deals being cut….main character there is Zebari…IMO….and who knows who else…..but I’m thinking the Kurds don’t want to lose their leverage in the area of Finance Ministry……so maybe he stays….but at the expense of Maliki and a big group of other SOL bloc goons of his who Zebari has carefully kept tabs on over the years….
Remember he was a Minister for Maliki before he became a minister for Abadi….and I’m guessing Abadi had to know of any shady past of Zebari’s but still accepted him anyway….lessor of evils maybe……
So as Frank is saying…..watch the CBI and while you eye is away from the GOI…..they pull a camel out of the tent…..I mean a rabbit out of the hat….heads roll…..new positions are created and filled…..
Abadi gets what he’s always wanted a much more cooperative GOI who will not throw roadblocks in his face or sit in the cafeteria puffing on hookah’s when they should be doing business…..just an afternoon dream….IMO Aloha Randy

Don961: Yo Randy …. Remember Frank saying there wasn’t a very big pool of qualified people to choose from to run things when A got in ,,,, many who had experience were/are on the take …. no wonder they need to recruit technocrats from elsewhere … no wonder time was needed …IMO
