The CBI explicitly stated they’re preparing the banking sector for deeper integration into the global financial system…This is one of the strongest signals we’ve seen…The technical foundation for a credible Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER) is being strengthened right now after years of quiet preparation. The banking sector is moving into execution phase. This is genuinely very uplifting for me. It shows the CBI is not waiting. They are acutely building the infrastructure needed for the next step.
