The central bank said the shift from cash to electronic payments is not mandatory…It leaves room for the notes already in people’s hands and the printed stock, that has not been released, to circulate together.  Old currency, new smaller denominations can flow at the same time.  No forced exchange in my view…This goes all the way back to 2018...We all know the new stock was printed and has stayed ready…The bank does not need to pull the old notes out of people’s  hands…Both can move side-by-side…That’s the record. :Militia Man
