...the CBI is working with the IMF and the US Treasury behind the scenes to orchestrate the redenomination of the currency. It has NOT officially begun…there is a needed law put in place and voted on in parliament to change out the currency…But…they also need a buy-in from the GOI (Finance Committee). I am told this is going to be voted on soon and once it passes we can expect the process to begin…I am told the efforts are still all geared towards a January 2026 reinstatement. We will see what happens.
