Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed, on Sunday, the importance of integrating the Ministry of Oil’s projects in the oil and gas sectors with the requirements of work on the path of development, and the need to avoid any overlap that would affect the progress of work.
The Prime Minister’s media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani chaired a special meeting on oil storage and export system projects.”
“During the meeting, the progress of work on oil storage and export projects was discussed, and their priorities were reviewed, particularly the government’s plans related to diversifying export outlets and the flexibility of transfer operations between different outlets.”
According to the statement, the Prime Minister stressed “the importance of ensuring that the Ministry of Oil’s projects in the oil and gas sectors are integrated with the requirements of development work, and the need to avoid any overlap that would affect the progress of work.”
