The first trading day of Iraq’s new dinar rate ended with two of Baghdad’s main wholesale markets locked. Shops and warehouses…closed…and exchange houses closed with them, because traders could not put a price on their goods.  The dollar on the street went up, not down. Baghdad closed Wednesday at 167,000 IQD for $100…The gap is not about the bank’s price.  It is a queue of Iraqis who cannot get dollars at a bank…Baghdad answered by promising to meet every dollar request for trade, bank cards and travelers without restrictions…Parliament has called the Central Bank governor and the finance minister in to explain. :Reset Intelligence
