Can Americans exchange Iraqi dinars in the United States? As of today, yes. However if there is a reprinting of the currency, maybe no. We don’t know…When and if Iraq reprints its currency, the currency brokers surely will have access to the currency. But how long will it take? And what will be the window of time that you can exchange the old banknotes for the new currency? That’s the problem…We could be locked out.
