I found out about the IQD from a US military soldier who had a letter in his file from Condoleeza Rice who at that time was Secretary of State. The letter encouraged US military personnel to invest in Iraq. So I really did believe the IQD had a very good chance of revaluing into a higher amount. Now after many years…of holding the IQD and nothing happening…I was thinking am I silly because I invested in the IQD? I’ve come to the conclusion not only am I not silly, it was a wise decision …We learned currency is not based on speculation.
