Iraq’s government is trying to bring all weapons under government control by September 30, 2026. The goal is for only Iraqi officials, military and police to carry weapons. These armed groups have had their way for years…They helped defeat ISIS. However they recently made a very big mistake. They sent an armed drone to a neighboring country which exploded over a nuclear facility…These are the same groups that sent missiles to Israel during the Israeli-Iran conflict from Iraq’s territory…The only reason Israel didn’t start bombing Iraq…is because there were US troops stationed physically in Iraq…US troops will be gone by the end of September…It has come on the major international news feeds that major Shiite armed groups have agreed to join the work under the Iraqi military. That’s great, however, some powerful Iran aligned militants are refusing to disarm or give up their independence.
