BAGHDAD / .. kicked off New Year celebrations in the streets of the capital, Baghdad, since the early hours of Thursday evening, amid heavy security spread, and in the areas of Karrada and Mansour Al-Zawraa Park and Spring Street, the busiest way.
The reporter said “Eye Iraq News,” “The celebrations are overwhelming launched at the grassroots level, in conjunction with the announcement official holiday, on the occasion of Liberation gray and New Year’s Day, and the days of the birth of the Great Prophet, and announced by the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.”
“The security forces heavily deployed in several areas, including al-Rubaie, Karrada Street, Mansour, park Zora, to secure the citizens,” explaining that “it is expected to witness arenas such as Paradise and Kahramana and Mansour manifestations of intense celebration in the coming hours.”
