Ray: We sent the notice that is on Iraqi TV. Abadhi told his citizens, “prosperity is coming soon; economic reforms complete; things went well with IMF and WB and rebuilding of Mosul.” All that has been in the news and the finance minister that was canned and other folks along with CBI personnel.
In addition to that, the head of the CBI is not 100% out of the picture. Looking for some announcement tonight – tomorrow for us. Member Bank Story: Let you know of my 1st bank initiative. WF drive through yesterday to make a deposit and asked teller about exchanging foreign currency and was told I could exchange right there. It’s just a normal community WF bank. Told funds available on the spot and they have their own system to verify right there. No machine. Have a book they can verify with. She asked what currency and I told her Vietnamese Dong.

Perfect time to get everything rolling for the New Year. If the banks and SKR come through this weekend, we won’t care about Oct. 1.

- –Dong sometimes referred to as Dom. What’s up with that? Ray: I was told some time ago Dong was pronounced “dom.” Someone who is Vietnamese just texted me they pronounce it as Dong.
- –Which tier is the internet group assigned to? Ray: I have no idea.

- –Was Abadhi speaking live or was it pre-taped? Ray: Not really sure how they received it. Could have been a text scrolling across the bottom like it has been in the past.
- –Am I to understand we are just waiting for the announcement to go to the bank? Ray: Could be, yes. Don’t know for sure. Never really know what the next step is until it happens.
- – 870 Dinar still expected to increase in value within a few days, a week after the release? Ray: Yes, sure. (on Dinar) Not received any indication Dong or ZIM will move once they come out. A lot of question marks with ZIM.
