TNT Call notes 28-September-2016
RayRen: Good afternoon, superfantastic TNT family! Today is Wednesday, September 28, 2016, yours truly RayRen98 here. We’ve had technical difficulties all morning with the software I’ve been using. We don’t have a whole lot to talk about anyway, so we don’t be here long.
You got the tweet to let you know the call is on, and we are here to go over a few things. We’ve has some intel, not major but something. By the time we wrap this up, you might consider it major!
In terms of the banks, there is a high state of alertness. The banking community if just vibrating and waiting for this to pop. They are mostly excited, with heightened awareness and rates bouncing back and forth. They are not consistent. Why it’s bouncing around I have no idea, but at least they are seeing rates on currencies that they haven’t seen before. They seem to be on, off, here, gone, rates on but can’t get the exchange to go through… but they are optimistic that we are in the last wave, or the last week. Some have bank appointments and being told to bring all their currency. Why do that if they don’t intend to exchange it? So that is looking extremely good. Some members have times set to come in, people who have been talking to their bank people and have a rapport, not people just walking up to the counter and asking to exchange. There is a strong belief that it is going to take place. Otherwise a whole lot of people are being fooled, not just those on this call.
In Iraq, there are all types of articles in the news, some of them directly connected to what we are looking for while some are not. Can you tell the difference? That’s a tricky navigation all by itself. We listen to all the news and filter it for what we are looking for. Reps from the US Treasury are in the Iraq right now, and we wonder what they are doing there. The IMF agreement is being presented to Parliament for its approval, and that supposedly ties into the revaluing of the dinar. We have heard agreements to Erbil and the 2017 Budget have been agreed. Everyone is expecting a total release; everything is in alignment, the banks are synchronized, and everything seems to be pointing to on or before October 1. I think that window is a promise now for things to surface pretty soon. I’ll have to leave it at that because I’m not at liberty to say a whole lot. The clock is ticking (tick-tock on the call) and that is appropriate. Let me stop there before I accidentally go too far. That’s enough for us to be in a good spirit or frame of mind.
Questions from the TNT forum:
Q: Ray, are you still believing in the RV by October 1st? A: Yes, sir!
Q: What happened at 2.30am, if anything? A: I was asleep, so I don’t know! I haven’t heard of anything happening at that time.
Q: I think it’s obvious to most of us that we are in a great window of opportunity for a rate change. However, if we don’t see it, or a clear path to it, by the first week of October, how concerned would you be? A: I would be very concerned. There might be an answer, but I’d want to know what the deal is if we don’t see it by then.
Q: Not to long ago it was mentioned that banks were saying sell vs. exchange. Wouldn’t selling fall under capital gains? A: I think in the end, it will boil down to what you claimed that you did. [Not sure I got this correctly.]
Q: If a trust’s main objective is to maintain generational wealth, what are examples of a well planned contingency chain of trustees? (Financial institutions, trust companies, etc.) Also, if the trust outlives the creator and beneficiaries with no contingency plan, what happens to its assets? A: You would name successor trustees, and they in turn would name their successor trustees. If they run out of successor trustees… I don’t know. It’s best to have a contingency plan.
Q: What about banking in Hawaii? Do you know the ones we would go to? A: No, not at the present time.
Q: I have a few single women friends who have small amounts of Dong & Zim. They have been too busy working to keep up with this process. Will I be able to accompany them on their exchanges to help guide them after I have done my exchange, if I don’t share the details of my exchange rates etc.? A: I guess there will always be those who rely on others to keep with this. I don’t see why you couldn’t accompany them to the basic process as long as they sign an NDA and you don’t disclose your personal rates and other information covered by your NDA.
Q: Will there be simplified exchange instructions that I can share with them, rather than accompanying them? A: I’m sure there will be.
Q: Is there a class this coming weekend? Where? A: No, not this weekend.
Q: This is likely the single largest financial event of all time. If you would care to elaborate on the forthcoming question to assist from a curiosity and historical tracking perspective, your mention may help us look out for some announcements or key words to listen for from leaders in our country and others just before or even post RV. A: You guys have already been listening to the key words, just haven’t heard the ones you want to hear: that the dinar has revalued. Those might come out after you’ve exchanged! The main thing is that they are talking about the economic reforms in Iraq, and that’s probably the most you will hear beforehand.
Do you think there will be the need for some kind of speech or explanation to the US and other countries citizens/news media once this event shows definitive pending or is in full swing due to the high likelihood of negative market reactions, investor concerns and financial news folks speculations? A: I don’t think there will be any special speech about this, that it will all get blended in with other world events.
Q: Do you know of any WF exchange locations on Long Island? A: I don’t know of any; did you do your homework and call? I said a while to call your local bank and ask if they have branches on Long Island that exchange currency (in general), without mentioning our currencies. When these currencies go live, they will more than likely be participating banks. When we find out specific locations, I will post those if it doesn’t cause a problem, and if we don’t have 800 numbers to tell us where to go.
Q: In your opinion, is the recapture of Mosul the last phase of our wait to see complete economic reform for Iraq? A: In my opinion, NO.
Q: I have 13 grandkids and numerous godchildren – if I want to set up college funds for each of them, who would I do that. A: I can’t answer that in 30 seconds. Do some research; there are many tools to help you set that up, depending on the level of control you want them to have.
Q: Are citizens in Iraq using their qi cards and do the cards have an international rate? A: From what I hear, Yes they are using them, and No, the ones in-country don’t have international rates yet. The ones outside are getting a better rate.
Live questions:
865/404 caller: I love the clock sound. Are you awaiting an announcement? I’m looking forward to Grocery Day ten days after we exchange.
RayRen: Yes, a singular announcement. The clock represents ‘upcoming’.
303 caller: Looking at Mosul, I’ve heard/read many conflicting reports about when Mosul is apt to be liberated. What do you think? How does this relate to what we’re waiting for?
RayRen: That has to do with the politics of Iraq, so I’m not going there. I‘m not worried about Mosul; I’m looking for the RV.
601 caller: [couldn’t hear the question]
RayRen: I imagine there will be somewhere to exchange currency. How can employees tell what their company will do? Their supervisor might say “we will never do this”, and then someone higher up changes direction. Unless that person knows someone on the board, they don’t really know. We’ve had members with bank managers who say “we don’t touch this with a ten-foot pole”, and then a year later they’re calling them up, wanting to help when this happens.
512 caller: Why do you think some of the banks are still playing dumb? Some of my local banks are still calling it a scam – and this is a WF bank. Is that just here? Isn’t this going to hurt their credibility when this turns around?
RayRen: Some don’t know, some aren’t trying to find out. If the boss says No, we’re not doing it, then that’s what the lower level employees will say. If you want to have some fun with them, ask them to prove that it’s a scam. Apparently those who calculate these things believe it’s not that great a risk of losing clientele. They are telling you the truth as they know it; next week, the board can change their minds and exchange currency. That doesn’t mean they lied about it, just that circumstances changed. Do you still want to exchange? That’s the main thing.
704 caller: I asked to have this conversation with you four weeks ago; you took my number so we could speak by phone, and I still haven’t heard from you.
RayRen: I took your number, got caught up, left your number in the folder, and now I am reminded to call you. We WILL have that conversation.
409 caller: With WF bank and all they are going through, will that affect us? Also, what’s the callback number so that I can listen again?
RayRen: Not that I’m aware of. Here’s the replay number: 605-562-3179, 409029#.
281 caller: Will there be an public announcement with 800 numbers? [not sure about this]
RayRen: I don’t know if they will announce that publically or not. We will if we can.
601 caller: If a note is drawn on a country, why would you have to wait until another country such as Iraq revalues it’s currency before honoring that note? If zim is a bearer bond, you should just be able to take it to the bank, right?
RayRen: Some say “it’s not all about Iraq”, but if not, why don’t they jump ahead? As for the zim, I don’t know if it’s a bearer bond. I just bought some worthless currency for the sake of interest, and in case it revalues. My zim doesn’t say anything about ‘bearer bond’.
Caller: The ones I have say ‘bearer bond’.
RayRen: Mine says “we promise to pay the bearer on demand”, and that is not the same as a ‘bearer bond’. We’ll find out when we exchange!
918 caller: With everything that you know, do you plan on having an Open Mic call Sunday to discuss pre-RV topics? I look forward to those calls, but I’m looking forward to something else.
RayRen: No, I don’t plan on having a call like that. I am not looking forward to having the regular Friday call either! If there are things we want you to know, we will get the word out, whether it’s a call, tweet, post in the forum or all of the above.
360 caller: I’m on the West Coast. You’ve been talking about what the banks are doing – where are these banks located? My local banks here in WA are not saying those things.
RayRen: Maybe you need to move! Just be patient; it’s coming. Everything happens in stages, and it’s coming along from the private exchanges to SKRs to folks who are now exchanging at one rate or another. Most have been on the East Coast, some in the Midwest, with a few on the West Coast. But it’s coming! The major metropolitan areas will pop out first, probably, and then the suburbs and more rural areas. You’re in a good place; it’s coming. I may get my Rolls-Royce before you get yours, but only by a day!
609 caller: You said on the call last week that people you know with SKRs were to be paid – anything on that?
RayRen: That didn’t happen, to the best of my knowledge… or at least not yet. They were not given any reasons, but that might not matter after today.
704 caller: Several callers seem to be stressed because WF say they will not be exchanging the currencies. A year or so ago I asked my banker about this, and he admitted everything Tony said, but that they weren’t supposed to talk about. He wasn’t allowed to buy dinar, but had bought dong and suggested I do so. I went into another branch and asked another personal banker, and he said it was a scam. So I’m happy that I heard from one person in Wells Fargo that they are expecting this. It’s going to happen; I don’t even ask any more, I’m just waiting for the 800 numbers. As well as verification, diversification, etc., we need a VACATION.
704 caller: Are we thinking of tomorrow possibly? Can I take an adviser with me? My husband doesn’t want to go, but I have to take him to sign the NDA. Can I take her as well?
RayRen: I don’t see why you can’t take an adviser. Ask them when you make the appointment, that you want to bring an adviser as well as your spouse. You will have to have your husband sign the NDA, and I suspect he will not object when he sees the money. I would make that appointment for both of you together, and bring your friend, but ask when you make the appointment so there aren’t any surprises.
707 caller: I drafted a gift letter for my daughter, but she’s caught up in something. She is involved in my family trust, so I’m thinking I’ll exchange it all and set up a trust.
RayRen: Good idea! The trust is a better way in any case, unless you just want to give her five or ten thousand dollars. With ownership comes liability. The trust route means that she is a controller and can control the tax liability as well.
Houston caller: Are we still waiting for notification of 800 numbers?
RayRen: Yes, that’s what we are hearing.
856 caller: If you are recently separated, do you have to involve the spouse that never believed in this anyway?
RayRen: If you are still legally married, I believe your spouse has to sign the NDA; other-wise, there will be no funding to that account. But you have a bigger situation than that. If there is a split in the process, then you have to look at how that split is going to work. I’ve had some family members where the spouse was against the currency and none of their money was used to purchase it, but comes to a divorce, that may change. You might want to put things in order to cover your assets at this point, before exchanging.
Caller: Once he realizes this is true, he might now have any problem signing the NDA… and his hand will probably come up, too.
Next caller: I have a bank story from three months ago. Earlier, the bank peopled denied it was happening; this manager told me that he quit because of the bail-in situation. They made him sign an NDA, and he walked out because they wouldn’t answer his questions. He said that we will get paid, in digits not cash, and he believes the bank will try to take 50% of those funds.
RayRen: Thank you.
Closing statement:
We’re in a good place. I’m excited. We are looking for things to develop. The window is there. A lot of information is targeting 1. October from many sources and activities. We don’t know for sure, but the clock is ticking for something. Let’s stay happy and positive. We’re just waiting to hear something, and for that the clock is ticking. It should be very soon, and that information will let us know if we will have a pre-RV call on Friday or not. We’ll all find out together.
