Chairman of the Integrity Committee to discuss with the US Treasury Department auction currency and file laundering and smuggling money
September 27, 2016 [Image: talal27-9.jpg]Mr. MP Talal Zobaie head of the Integrity Committee met on Monday, 09/26/2016 Attaché delegation from the US Treasury Department at the US Embassy.
During the meeting, they discussed the issue of auction of the currency at the central bank and how to deal with and find solutions about money laundering and smuggling outside Iraq and preventive measures to achieve this file.
They also discussed the exchange of experience and information to track and prosecute money smuggled into the organization Daesh and existing programs to detect money accounts transferred to Daesh.
The meeting touched on the central Reserve Bank of the US Notes and the US Treasury Department at the Central Bank of Iraq.
OOTW – Zobai (the head of the parliament integrity committee pictured above) has been called out by Yassiri (head of the integrity commission – still, at least as far as i can tell despite reports he’d resigned) has accused Zobai of sitting on many files (primarily of those in govt) and not turning them over to the judiciary for prosecution –
so for me, this is an interesting developement (above article) – I’m hoping that Zobai now sees he’s under huge scrutiny and threat – and will go ahead and allow those files to be presented to the judiciary for prosecution – and of course, you know our other issue is holding the judiciary accountable –
we have recently seen a new law passed placing tighter guidelines re formation and function of the judicial oversight body –
OOTW: We still also are awaiting the final reading of the Fed Court Act – but this week (as seen in this thread) we have had the first reading of the law protecting/giving protection to witnesses testifying against the corrupt. All good developments and I pray they are going to experience a trickl up effect regarding prosecutions and getting to the head of this all – maliki and mahmoud – but this also means going after Iran, their supporters – big ask, we’ll see.
OOTW: What also cannot be overlooked is that Iraq (at least those in govt) have been pushing to change out Ali Alaq Mohsen, head of the CBI – what is also telling about this is that I believe we will see a forthcoming change in the auctions, there is just too much of a push to deal with corruption – vs the usery position of currency traders. We need to see these auctions controlled if not stopped.
I’m curious what this discussion is/will be regarding the CBI’s use of the dollar. Again, we wait.

Heres proof our Treasury is involved in the investigate process. I am sure the FBI is also there along with many members of major accounting firms. If the are already looking at the auctions history they are looking at the politicians who used the auctions as their personal piggy bank.
They will find these same politicians are the ones that in 2009 and 2010 set up they cottage banking industry in the green zone bing dinars using dollars from the auctions. They did this in anticipation off the zeros bring deleted.
As the years rolled by with no zeros deleted, they then used these same dinars in select banks by financing the purchase of dollars at from the auctions and washing them again over and over in the streets through these same banks taking a percentage of the profits.
These gus will be exposed shortly and I fully expect both Shahristani, Maliki and son along with Jafaari and the heads of the DAWN and SOL to be implicated. Is it any wonder why they wanted to keep the status quo?

OOTW- SO THIS IS A CALL FROM THE JUDICIARY RE AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION IN REGARDS TO THE DIFFERENCT BODIES/FACTIONS OVERSEEING THE JUDICIARY –
ONE EXAMPLE WOULD BE, THE JUDICIAL OVERSIGHT BODY – THE JUDICIARY IS STATING THAT IF THE CONSTITUTION IS AMENDED THAT THE JUDICIAL OVERSIGHT BODY AND OTHER DIVISIONS/BODIES WHICH FALL UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE SUPREME JUDICIARY WILL NO LONGER ADHERE TO THE CURRENT/EXISTING CONSTITUION –
THEY ARE WARNING NOT TO AMEND THE CONSTITUTION BECAUSE THE JUDICIARY AND ALL RELATED BODIES ARE CURRENTLY GOVERNED RIGHTFULLY BY THE CONSTITUION –
MEANING, THEY DO NOT WANT THE GOVERNMENT CONTROLLING THEIR WORK.
THIS TELLS ME THAT THE JUDICIARY IS NERVOUS ABOUT LOSING OVERSIGHTS – ESP REGARDING THEIR WORK AND INSPECTING THE PERFORMANCE OF JUDGES – IE ANY “MISSTEPS” IN THE JUDICIARY –
THIS IS LIKE THE PRESIDENT OF THE US STATING THAT HE ANSWERS ONLY TO HIMSELF….
WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT/IF THE JUDICIAL OVERSIGHT BODY, LAWS, AND REGS ACTUALLY HAVE AN EFFECT ON FAIRLY/JUSTLY OVERSEEING THE SUPREME JUDICIARY.
