The US Energy Information Administration announced, today, Saturday, that Iraq’s oil exports increased during the past week, reaching 412 thousand barrels per day, on average.
The administration said in a report, “The average US imports of crude oil during the past week from nine countries amounted to 5.987 million barrels per day, an increase of 921,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, which amounted to 5.066 million barrels per day.”
And she added, “America imported crude oil from Iraq at a rate of 412 thousand barrels per day during the past week, up from the previous week, in which the average exports amounted to 133 thousand barrels per day.”
She noted that “most of America’s oil revenues during the past week came from Canada, at a rate of 3.953 million barrels per day, followed by Saudi Arabia at a rate of 613,000 barrels per day, followed by Mexico at a rate of 383,000 barrels per day, then Colombia at a rate of 286,000 barrels per day, and then Ecuador at a rate of 236 thousand. barrels per day.
According to the administration, “the amount of US imports of crude oil from Trinidad and Tobago amounted to an average of 75,000 barrels per day, followed by Nigeria at a rate of 20,000 barrels per day, and then Nigeria came at a rate of 9 thousand barrels per day, while America did not import any quantity from Brazil.”
According to the administration, “America did not import oil from Russia, Ecuador and Trinidad and Tobago.”
