Economic Specialist For / NINA /: Granting Licenses To Establish Banks, Making Them (Shops) Their Goal To Acquire Shares Of The Currency Auction

Baghdad / NINA / Economic specialist Dergham Muhammad Ali confirmed that the number of private banks is hundreds of times greater than any country in the economically larger country than Iraq without having any developmental role.

Ali said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency / NINA / that “the expansion of granting bank establishment licenses made them stores that were established to acquire shares of the central bank auction without having any development or credit impact on the country’s economy.”

He added that “canceling the licenses of 90 percent of private banks will not affect the economic movement in the country in a simple way, but will have a positive effect, not the other way around.”

He expressed his surprise at the economic feasibility of this expansion in granting bank licenses instead of urging the existing ones to increase their capital and to exercise real credit roles in support of the development movement in the country.

He continued, “The new central bank administration is required to correct the course of the banking system and make it a real contributor to development by encouraging specialized banks and directing funds towards societal reform, clean energy and small projects instead of competing for shares of the currency auction.” / End 8 Saturday 26, September 2020 | Economical Views 136

After Pompeo’s Threats … The Reasons For The Failure Of Maliki And Al-Amiri To Meet The Political Forces

Author: Ahad6 On 9/26/2020 – 12:30 PM 73   Ahed News – Baghdad – Special   The issue of armed resistance in any country is a legitimate issue approved by all divine religions and international laws in the United Nations, and it is one of the most basic rights of people who seek freedom and dignity.

While unknown armed forces are targeting the US embassy and Baghdad airport, where an American base is located, as well as companies cooperating with the occupation, the resistance factions in Iraq announced that they are with the official solution represented by diplomacy at the present time, which is a wise behavior indicating Respect for the Iraqi state, and also to give the government an opportunity to make every effort to achieve this file.

But it seems clearly and clearly that the strikes of these forces were painful for the Americans, who were quick to send a threatening tone to Iraq by contacting the President of the Republic, Barham Salih.

A source in the office of the President of the Republic said that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo informed President Barham Salih that Washington would close its embassy in Baghdad unless it stopped targeting it with missiles.

The source said in a press statement, “Pompeo informed Saleh in a phone call two days ago of his country’s intention to close its embassy in Baghdad within a short period, in case the embassy was not repeatedly targeted by missile attacks.”

The source added, “Pompeo confirmed to Saleh that the decision to close the embassy belongs to President Donald Trump, who does not want to enter the elections at a time when his country’s embassy is under constant bombardment and threat.”

On the other hand, the source said, “The United States decided to reduce the period for exempting Iraq from preventing the import of electricity from Iran, as a result of the sanctions that Washington applies to Tehran, from 120 days to 60 days only.”

This prompted the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to coordinate with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, by calling an urgent meeting with the most important political leaders in the country, including Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, in addition to Saleh and al-Kazemi, as well as the heads of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, and the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al Amri.

But the surprise that happened that Maliki and Ameri boycotted the meeting, according to what was revealed by an informed source, last Monday.

The source said, “The head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, and the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, decided to boycott the meeting of political forces called by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi,” without giving further details.

analyzing :

1- It is clear that al-Maliki and al-Amiri took the stance of boycotting the meeting as an expression of their rejection of the American presence in Iraq, which is a patriotic stance that is to be counted for them.

2- Al-Maliki and Al-Amiri’s boycott of the meeting is unambiguous evidence that the two men are with the armed resistance in heart and soul, and when we talk about two personalities with the weight of al-Maliki and al-Amiri, we are talking about a majority in the House of Representatives, which means that their position is to isolate the executive side that obeys US instructions For the Iraqi people represented by the House of Representatives.

In other words, Al-Maliki and Al-Amiri sent a message to the executive authority that government is for the people and not for any authority, and that this people is rejecting the American presence, and you should not negotiate for the survival of these forces, but rather negotiate with the Americans to get their forces out.

3- The US Secretary of State Pompeo could have contacted the executive government represented by its president, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, but he preferred to contact President Saleh, for unknown reasons, but it could be subjected to analysis, that the Americans see Saleh as close to them and have more experience than Al-Kazemi in dealing with these issues.

4- The unfortunate thing bout the issue .. President Saleh should have acted as the president of a large country like Iraq, and not assume the role of the mailman between the Americans and the political forces.

5- It is noteworthy that the meeting was called by Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, the head of the Wisdom Movement, and this cannot be explained except that al-Hakim is outside the circle of influence on the political scene.
