Al-Musawi: Changing The Exchange Rate Helps The Poor And Increases The Popularity Of The Sudanese Government

He told the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ): It is possible to reduce the value of the dollar in light of the financial abundance, but this will face problems with the International Monetary Fund and some international financial institutions, especially since Iraq owes large sums to them.
He explained: Any decline will make Iraq unable to find a lender to fill the deficit in its budget, since Iraq is still a single economy.

Washington Welcomes The Talks Between Erbil And Baghdad Ahead Of An Upcoming Visit To The Kurdistan Delegation

These statements come at a time when a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government is preparing to go to Baghdad on the first visit since the formation of the new government headed by Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani.
A delegation from the US Consulate General in Erbil visited the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region. The delegation consisted of Deputy Consul General Zahra Bell and Head of the Economics Department of the Consulate, Hess Bailey.
The Minister of Finance and Economy, Awat Sheikh Janab, expressed his full support for the new Iraqi government, and expressed his hope “to solve the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad within the framework of the constitution and the law and to obtain the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people,” according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance.

A ministry statement stated, “The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, chaired the 100th session of the Contractors Classification Committee, which was held at the ministry’s headquarters.”
Tamim stressed, “The ministry strongly adopts a policy of supporting and empowering the private sector, as it is the main development partner in the country, because the development of the private sector creates economic stability that supports and achieves security stability.”
He added, “The Prime Minister’s directives emphasized addressing the problems and challenges facing the work of the private sector, especially the contracting sector, which represents one of the most important development pillars, because it undertakes the implementation of projects at all levels, and that the government’s dealings with the private sector should be transparent and positive.”

He continued, “Any delay in completing the procedures for contractors and contracting companies would negatively affect the implementation of projects, and the failure to meet the services provided to citizens.”
