Article: “International Development Bank (IDB) has announced the opening of Iraq’s first smart banking branch, located…in Baghdad…The new facility provides customers with a fully digital banking experience, designed to be fast, secure, and integrated, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.” Here we go with a “consumer available” digital bank in Iraq. This blurb was a bit light on details but bodes well for Iraqi innovation.
