The government of Iraq has a couple of serious issues. First, they don’t know how much currency is in circulation. They don’t have a handle on exactly how many dinars are floating around domestically or internationally. The know the citizen are hurting, but the government is hurting too. Their oil revenues are down…They can’t get their product [oil] to market because the Straits…are not open in the way they been in the past…They don’t have a handle on the…black market exchanges…They still haven’t disarmed all the militias loyal to Iran…and they’re still trading and exchanging currencies to feed Iran’s war machine. So if you’re…at the head of the government and you want to reduce those influences so you can achieve national sovereignty, you got to take some hard steps. And that’s what this [devaluation] is…It’s a temporary measure to bring them to the RV… :Guy
