Iraq and Oman call for stronger Arab coordination to address regional war Iraqi News

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) — Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein spoke with his Omani counterpart Badr Al-Busaidi on Sunday, discussing the rising regional war and its effect on security and stability.

Hussein said in a statement posted on X that both parties emphasized the significance of increased collaboration and concerted Arab action to meet the problems posed by the continuing conflict.

The two ministers agreed on the need for increasing diplomatic efforts to find realistic solutions to the crisis and restore regional stability.

They also spoke about plans for an upcoming virtual conference of Arab foreign ministers, underlining the significance of uniting viewpoints and strengthening collaborative efforts in response to the situation.

Oman has played an important role in regional diplomacy, having previously attempted to mediate between the US and Iran before the commencement of war on February 28.

The discussions indicate regional parties’ rising attempts to seek a coordinated diplomatic strategy as tensions rise and impact many nations.
