Iraqi Insurance Premiums grew 75% in Q3 iraq-businessnews

Iraqi insurance companies recorded written premiums of more than IQD 207.3 billion (approximately USD 159 million) during the third quarter of 2025, reflecting annual growth of over 75 percent, according to a report from the state-run Iraqi News Agency (INA), citing official data.

It showed Iraqi Insurance Company leading the sector with 36.35%, followed by Al-Maseer Insurance Company (9.94%), Asia Insurance Company (9.44%), Al-Ettihad Al-Iraqi Insurance (9.39%), National Insurance Company (9.04%), and Al-Hamraa Insurance Company (8.02%).

The company said publication of the figures reflects the Insurance Diwan’s commitment to transparency, effective supervision, and strengthening confidence in the insurance sector.
