Mountainman:  I (Think) she (Christine Lagarde) likes the Word “TRANSITION”…….Her Speeches are Consistently Repeated w/ said WORD………….
WHY???…..because We are going from Something {OLD to something NEW}=TRANSITION……(Asynchronous) is also IMPORTANT….WHY???…..
Because We are TRANSITIONING “MANY” Countries Monetary Policies [Together] and yet……NOT at the same Time/ing……..so Lagarde’s Words are Used w/ Precision and The Appropriate Phases of Global {CHANGE} are WHAT/WHY they are being Inferred w/ her Comments…..
(IMO)
asynchronous

Events are asynchronous when they don’t happen at the same time. If you pick up the crossword puzzle I started yesterday, we are working on it together but in anasynchronous fashion. Please do it in pencil.
Asynchronous is the opposite of synchronous, which means happening at the same time.
Think of “synchronous” as “in synch” and asynchronous as “out of synch.” If we’re chatting on the phone, our communication is “synchronous.” We respond to each other immediately and when we hang up, the conversation’s over. Email is asynchronousbecause we respond whenever it’s convenient. In some cases this means never, which can be mighty convenient.
Definitions of asynchronous
1
adj not synchronous; not occurring or existing at the same time or having the same period or phase
Blessings,Mountainman   (8)=New Beginnings……..of {MANY} Things…..

OVERVIEW

Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the IMF, will discuss key issues in the global economy with Stephen Sackur of the BBC’s HARD talk. Global growth in 2015 remains modest and uneven, as important transitions weigh on the outlook.
These transitions include asynchronous monetary policy in advanced economies,
rebalancing in China, and the end of the global commodity boom.
Recent data suggest that global growth is likely to remain modest in 2016, with a continuation of the modest recovery in advanced economies and still-difficult conditions in several emerging and developing economies, particularly commodity exporters.
If the transitions are not successfully navigated, global growth could be derailed. Indeed, in an environment of significantly lower commodity prices, reduced private capital flows to emerging markets, and higher financial market volatility, downside risks to the outlook remain elevated, particularly for emerging and developing economies.
To secure a strong and durable recovery, policies need a decisive upgrade.

WASHINGTON, April 14 (Reuters) – International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde said on Thursday the Fund would do more in 2016 to help its members meet economic growth objectives, including devoting more resources to protect vulnerable countries.
In a policy agenda document released during the IMF and World Bank spring meetings in Washington, Lagarde said the Fund needed to ensure it had adequate funds and would examine reforms including strengthening ties to regional lenders and re-examining its lending toolkit.
Among reforms to be considered will be a greater use of its Special Drawing Rights, the Fund’s unit of account, which will include the Chinese yuan later this year in its basket of currencies.
“The Fund’s financial resources will be available to underpin more forceful policy implementation while preserving financial stability and protecting those that are vulnerable to the current environment,” Lagarde said in the document.
She added that the IMF will work to help identify policy space and necessary measures for countries to meet their growth commitments, and it will continue to analyze the implications of negative interest rates.
