The only two direct neighbors who are not listed are Iran, & Syria…
Nordea.com…also has Egypt and Iran on their list for countries with IBAN numbers.
According to the Nordea site IBANs are mandatory for all cross boarder payment for Bahrain, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, & United Arab Emirates.
This makes Iraq’s move to the IBAN even more interesting.
