Iraqi Foreign Ministry to Open Branch Offices in Kurdistan Region

Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to open two branch offices in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah of Kurdistan Region, said, Kurdish lawmakers.

The ministry has finalized the plan but the timing remains unknown up to the moment, according to MP Bayar Doski.

The plan is to process the paperwork of the people from Kurdistan Region without requiring them to visit Baghdad.

The first office will be opened in Erbil and then the second will be established in Sulaymaniah “in the near future”, the MP said. Source
