Kurdistan President, Chinese Envoy Discuss Bilateral Ties
Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani received on Tuesday a diplomatic delegation led by China’s Consul General Ni-Ruchi in Erbil.
The Chinese envoy congratulated the president on his election and reiterated his country’s support for the Kurdistan Region.
Ni-Ruchi stated that China is keen to further expand its relations with the Kurdistan Region in different areas of potential cooperation.
Barzani, in return, welcomed developing economic, cultural, educational, and diplomatic ties, and pointed out that Erbil is ready to enhance the cooperations.
The latest political and security developments, as well as the current situation of the displaced Iraqis in Kurdistan Region, were also discussed. Source
