France’s Macron Condemns Iran’s Decision to Increase Uranium Enrichment
French President Emmanuel Macron condemned on Sunday Iran’s announcement of enriching uranium beyond the limits set at the 2015 Nuclear Deal.
Macron said the move was a “violation” of the agreement, which is also signed by France and other key US allies from the European Union, Reuters cited an official from the French presidency.
The French president reiterated the deadline of July 15 to resume dialogue between the parties, the source added.
The comments came after Iran said it was resuming the enrichment of uranium “at any level” to protest the US sanctions.
Tehran has warned to further increase the enrichment level every 60 day if the EU parties of the agreement failed to help Tehran against the US sanctions. Source
