Coalition’s Air Force Kills Dozens of IS Militants in Anbar

The air force of the International Coalition against the Islamic State (IS) launched an air strike against the IS militants near Trabil border crossing in Anbar province of western Iraq on Friday, killing dozens of militants.

The Iraqi War Media Cell stated that “the coalition’s fighter jets, relying on accurate information of the intelligence agency, conducted an air strike targeting a convoy of IS militants.”

The statement said the convoy consisted of 15 military vehicles carrying weapons and more than 60 militants heading to the road of Baghdad, 25 km from Trebil border crossing.

The strike resulted in the destruction of the entire convoy, burning the vehicles and killing dozens of extremists, the statement added.
